• information you give us through QuoteKing, email, telephone, social media, website forms or in person;

• website and device information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referral source and cookie or analytics identifiers; and
• information required to meet legal, insurance, licensing, safety or record-keeping obligations.

Please do not provide sensitive information unless it is reasonably necessary and we have requested it or you otherwise consent to its collection.

3. How we collect information

We generally collect personal information directly from you. We may also receive it from an authorised representative, referral partner, contractor, consultant, public record, service provider or relevant authority where lawful and reasonably necessary.

Our enquiry forms are provided through QuoteKing. Information entered into an embedded QuoteKing form is transmitted to QuoteKing and made available to us for enquiry and customer-management purposes.

4. Why we collect, use and disclose information

• assess project requirements and prepare or discuss quotations;
• schedule, plan, administer and deliver services;
• communicate with clients, prospective clients, trades, consultants and relevant authorities;

• send marketing communications where we have consent or are otherwise permitted by law;
• maintain business, taxation, insurance and legal records;

If we cannot collect information reasonably required for an enquiry or project, we may be unable to respond, provide an accurate quotation or deliver the requested service.

• QuoteKing, which hosts and processes website enquiry forms;
• website hosting, cloud storage, IT, security, analytics, advertising, email and SMS providers;
• employees, contractors, trades, designers, certifiers, building professionals and other consultants involved in an enquiry or project;
• councils, certifiers, utilities, insurers and other authorities or organisations where authorised, required or reasonably necessary;
• professional advisers such as lawyers, accountants and insurers;
• a purchaser or successor in connection with a genuine business transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality arrangements; and
• law enforcement, regulators, courts or other parties where required or authorised by law.

We do not sell personal information.

8. Overseas processing and disclosure

Some technology, cloud, analytics, communications and support providers may process or store information outside Australia. Depending on the provider and service configuration, those countries may include the United States and other locations where the provider or its subcontractors operate.

Where the Australian Privacy Principles apply, we take reasonable steps required by law before disclosing personal information overseas. However, overseas recipients may be subject to different privacy laws.
